As Producer Services Director, James Torbert brings a relationship-focused approach to expanding producer support, client service, and operational execution.

With more than 18 years in the energy industry, James is known for combining hands-on market knowledge with a steady, collaborative style. His background spans natural gas supply, transportation, scheduling, trading, credit, and business development. He began his career in 2006 with Superior Natural Gas Corporation, where he grew through roles including credit analyst, natural gas scheduler, cash trader, and business development.

In 2017, James joined CenterPoint Energy Resource Corporation as Gas Supply and Transportation Manager for the Oklahoma/Arkansas and Texas/Louisiana/Mississippi service areas.

Before joining TriNova Energy Services, James worked at ARM Energy with the natural gas scheduling and producer services teams.

James earned a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University.
