Steve adds value to clients with his extensive experience in the upstream marketing and accounting of natural gas.

Previously with Burlington Resources and its predecessor companies for 27 years in various positions including Manager of Gas Marketing-Gulf of Mexico. While serving in a variety of capacities Steve managed the overall marketing functions including the sales and transportation of natural gas. Additional responsibilities included the negotiation of sales contracts, well connection agreements, transportation agreements and property divestiture projects. Steve has added value by improving financial netbacks from gas sales by utilizing transportation agreements as well as analyzing market conditions on various pipelines.

Prior to his marketing experience Steve held various accounting positions at Union Texas Petroleum: gas plant accounting, property accounting and international accounting. The last accounting position Steve held was Manager - Revenue Accounting. Responsibilities included the recording of all oil and gas revenues, royalty and severance tax disbursements as well as managing both wellhead and pipeline imbalances. Steve’s accounting and regulatory experiences have proven to be a valuable asset in all facets of marketing natural gas by identifying an issue before it became a problem to the organization. Steve has developed an extensive array of industry contacts within the energy industry.  

Education- Bachelor of Business Administration-Concentration in Accounting from Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas
